Don Scroggins (AKA PC Dreams) has graciously published the papers from a few of his undergrad studies. These papers have a lot of information for those interested in heterogeneous networks.
Articles include Remote unattended install of Windows XP, Advanced remote unattended install of Windows XP, IP subnetting , Subnetting with examples, and Remote unattended install of Red hat Linux. You can also read his reasons for posting in his own words.
I've replaced the articles on the front page with the above links because they just look better on their own page. They're fairly highly formatted to look presentable and the front page squashes them to being nearly illegible.
If you're at all interested in computers you should read the articles on subnetting. TCP/IP has won the war and you can't understand it without learning the proper way to carve it into manageable chunks. Don's articles give you the short and sweet of how to do that.
They are however the best written technical papers on the site at the time I'm writing this.
If you read and learn something please let him know that you appreciate his contributions. |
